Wifite Leitfaden

Wifite: An automated tool for auditing wireless networks, designed to simplify attacks on WEP, WPA, WPA2, and WPS.

1. Prerequisites: Kali Linux and a Wireless Card that supports Monitor Mode and Packet Injection.

2. Installation: Run the following in your terminal:
sudo apt update && sudo apt install wifite

3. Usage: Start the tool by typing:
sudo wifite

Key Commands:

  • wifite -i wlan1mon: Specify the wireless interface manually.
  • wifite --kill: Terminate conflicting processes.
  • wifite --wps: Focus only on WPS-enabled networks.
  • wifite --pixie: Use the fast Pixie-Dust attack.
  • wifite --mac: Randomize your MAC address for anonymity.
  • wifite --dict /usr/share/wordlists/rockyou.txt: Use a custom wordlist.

Workflow: Once started, it scans for targets. Press Ctrl+C when your target appears, select its number, and let Wifite automate the handshake capture and cracking process.
